The "first visit" milestone is a big one. Here’s when to schedule it and how to prepare your little one.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by age 1, or within 6 months of the first tooth erupting. It sounds early, but it's crucial!
These early visits are mostly about 'happy visits' – getting your child used to the sights, sounds, and friendly faces of our office. We count teeth, check for healthy growth, and give high-fives.
Preparing at home helps too. Read books about the dentist, play 'dentist' with stuffed animals, and avoid using words like 'pain' or 'needle' (even when saying it won't hurt!).
We love seeing kids grow up with healthy smiles. Schedule your child's first visit with our Diamond Kids club today!
